What are Page Layout Files?

"Page layout" is generally used to refer to the organization of data on a page. A Page Layout File is a document file that can contain both text and image data, alongside information about how to format that data. Formatting can include page size, margins, organization of content, padding of objects, grids, templates, etc.

Page Layout files are used by page layout programs like Microsoft Publisher, Scribus, QuarkXPress, and more.

Developed by Microsoft, DOTX files are used by Microsoft Word, a word processor program. A kind of template file, DOTX contains data about the page layout, different setting styles, AutoText as well as macros. DOTX files are useful in creating multiple documents with the same layout and settings.
XSN — Format: Binary
